The American Heart Association BLS class is a comprehensive course that teaches individuals how to provide basic life support in emergency situations. Students will learn how to perform CPR, use an AED, and respond to choking incidents in both adult and pediatric patients. The class also covers important topics such as the chain of survival, the importance of early defibrillation, and the proper techniques for providing rescue breaths. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a certification that is valid for two years.
